January 19, 2015

“My vision is to empower men and women to live a life of choices and of their own design in excellent health and limitless wealth.”

Jacqui Agostinelli

Today's show is all about removing the unknowns in Entrepreneurship and Fitness.

Joining me is Health and Wellness Coach Jacqui Agostinelli and her journey of weight loss, financial loss and prosperity coupled with her own transformation. She is truly inspirational.

Jacqui is going to tell us about her business enterprise with a company by the name of Isagenix, a rapidly growing global business that is helping thousands of people achieve their fitness goals and financial independence.

On the Fitness Minute

On the Fitness Minute, I will focus on a research report that  explores our tendency to follow leaders that look healthy, rather than leaders who may look “smart” but don’t appear to be in good health.

According to a study from VU University in Amsterdam, a relatively healthy-looking leader may have a better chance of gaining the necessary authority to initiate and lead change across an organization.  On the other hand, a potential leader who looks relatively less healthy may be overlooked.

The business world is highly competitive and it appears that being prepared and skilled may not be enough.  Following a fitness routine is not only good for your health, but now we know that others may be more willing to follow your lead or give you leadership opportunities if they feel you are taking care of your health.

Overcoming Obstacles

During the interview, Jacqui shares the most difficult obstacles she overcomes every day and the leadership techniques she uses to overcome the following obstacles.

~ Distractions

~ Procrastination

~ Belief

~ Her past

Checkout the interview below to learn how Jacqui overcomes these obstacles by constantly improving the quality of her leadership, creating a culture of personal development, and growing her inner circle.

Until next time, I leave you with two questions to ponder:

Are you a good leader?  And how do you know?

Self-reflection can be painful but as they say, no pain no gain.
